Moors World of Sport (MWOS) undertakes Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives through the MWOS One Community programme. The MWOS One Community programme currently focuses on three key areas: promoting responsible gambling; sports development and community development.

  • Cricket Development: US$2,500 sponsorship of the High Performance Hub, aimed at nurturing the cricketing talent of young people. This boost is particularly aimed at making cricket accessible to children from low-income backgrounds
  • Tennis Excellence: Supporting BTA Tennis Zimbabwe (Baseline Tennis Academy) in Harare, emphasizing fun, athletic development, and continuous improvement
  • Local Football: Through MWOS FC, they've demonstrated remarkable community spirit, including donating football jerseys to local rivals Norton Bullets FC and bringing Premier League football to Norton

As the MWOS One Community programme states: "We are part of one community. We play a part in and actively influence the communities we impact through our operations. Through our programmes we support developing communities, the underprivileged and those with health and disability challenges."

This philosophy perfectly aligns with our league's mission. MWOS One Community has shown their commitment through initiatives like distributing 500 blankets and food hampers to the elderly at the Norton Hospital and supporting conservation efforts with the Bhejane Trust.
